They overcharge you if you try to terminate your membership, avoid them.
I have been a member of Actic Lamberget for many years due to the geographical location but have now chosen to cancel my membership in order to find a new gym to train at. Unfortunately, the facility has deteriorated in several aspects in recent years. For example, they removed the external cleaning as a cost saving and reduced their own staff on site, which was immediately noticeable in the hygiene of the premises. The inadequate cleaning has also been pointed out by a large proportion of members and also confirmed by the staff, but they have still chosen not to do anything about it.nnIf you come in the evening and train, it is basically standardized with urine on the toilet floors and overflowing trash cans. If you train on a weekend with a subsequent red day, all the towels are usually gone and there is no paper anywhere in the gym. They rarely do any heavy cleaning, see attached example pictures. The exercise bikes are not only dirty, but a couple of them also need to be serviced because of how they sound, but that is not something they have chosen to fix.nnFurthermore, at the turn of the year, a general price increase was made for all members and in connection with that, for some unknown reason, I also lost my 20% discount that I had had from my employer for the past 7 years. I pointed this out to the staff on several occasions, who promised that this would be corrected. But when Actic Lamberget for the third month in a row still withdrew too high an amount from the direct debit, it was the icing on the cake for me, who then chose to terminate my membership. No offers of compensation or explanations as to why they had not been more solution-oriented.nnI would also not claim that you can defend the neglected maintenance of the facility by saying that the price would instead be better for the customer than at the competitors, because that is not the case.
The building is big and clean, but the machines are old and not all the gym machines are there. Otherwise the staff is very nice, helpful and has a nice attitude
The place was cramped. I had nowhere to escape for my exercises, which I found stressful. I also bought a PT hour from what I assumed was a well-trained personal trainer. He showed me some exercises and how to perform them. Later, when I had a review with a training expert another one with documented solid training, it turned out that many of the exercises were performed incorrectly and that some of the specific advice I received was incorrect and shows incompetence. I feel disappointed that I wasted 1 hour of my time for no good. A gym should have well-trained staff. I will not go back here.
They scam people when it comes to canceling their membership. They want more money when you cancel, even though you don't have a commitment period. NOT GOOD....
