في ظل النمو المستمر للحضارات الغربية في مجتمعنا العربي، تأسست فرقة افراح الشام على الحب الكامل للفن التراثي العربي. و أي فن بالتحديد؟ فن الدبكة الشعبية. منذ إنطلاقة فرقة افراح الشام في عام 2010م، اتخذت الفرقة إحياء فنون اجدادنا الشعبية هدفً لها، مثبتةً أن الفن الشعبي لا يضاهى.

Despite the continual growth of western cultures in our Arabic community, Afrah Alsham Band was founded on the basis of passion for traditional Arabic music and art. More specifically, the art of the well-known dance “Dabka”. Since 2010, Al Oroba Band has been bound to keeping up the beautiful folklore of our ancestors. Proving that our art is no less than any other foreign one.
