From Air Wipp to Air Wipp Academy.
Our vision to live on parkour was deep in our hearts but we had no idea how to do it.
It all started with gymnastics in a controlled manner. You had to do it in a certain way. We will always be eternally grateful to our coach Pontus Kastberg who inspired us to become the people we are today.
But we wanted more than just gymnastics. The carpets, walls and floor kept us limited, so we went outside the hall with the knowledge we had from gymnastics and applied outdoors.
2007 we attended the first free running event in history. The race went very well, Marcus came 3rd and Filip in 7th place. After the race we got a lot of attention by media. Here was the turning point for both of us. It was here we made a decision that we should "live" on parkour.
3 years later we have reached our goal.
Our new goal is to spread this to children.
Air Wipp Academy is not only free running. It's a lifestyle. The experience we have gained from courage to invest, to dream and work hard to achieve your goals is what we want to spread to the children.
We want to convey the love and cooperation in parkour. We have come a long way with Air Wipp but now we have a responsibility to pass this on in the best way.
We see each person regardless of background. We show them the way, but they have to walk it themselves.
