I have a different opinion. I read the comments and disagree with them. I, a tourist from Serbia, who was visiting family in Malmö when my wife had a kidney stone and was in excruciating pain at 4:20 in the morning. From the arrival of the ambulance to the address, through the processing through the Acute Center in Malmö, to the intervention of the implantation of the stent through the renal canal at the Department of Urology 12, I have all the praise. I watched it all from the side, standing next to my wife. The admission procedure itself, the triage, the CT scanner and even the intervention of the stent installation itself, are all praiseworthy. Everything is incredibly well organized and the communication with all the staff was excellent and kind to us. And finally, the stent was implanted successfully, and performs its function. I don't think you Swedes have seen or experienced any other healthcare, so I think you are too spoiled. Kudos to Akutno Malmo and especially to the Department of Urology 12 and their staff.
I was anxious to go because of the bad reviews especially since I don't speak Swedish yet. But everyone we encountered from the reception to the nurses and doctor were kind and professional. My situation was treated with care and urgency and I was booked for a followup consultation, which shows their thoroughness as well. Very much appreciated
A small piece of false eyelash got stuck in my eyelid when I was in a hurry to put it on.nnI went to the doctor's emergency room without waiting, and I felt very good about the doctor's service. But the sad thing is that the two doctors couldn't find the tiny false eyelash in my eye even though they tried to insert a camera and put in eye drops.nnThe two doctors tried to explain that it might have fallen out but I kept thinking it was stuck in my eye but I swear my eye was irritated the whole time and it felt like my tiny eyelash was stuck in my eye .,nAnd the funniest thing was!!nI went home worried, and when I woke up the next morning, I found my eyelashes had fallen out after washing my eyes.nYes, two Doctor didn't find my eyelashes,nBut I slept with them on all night and they fell out by themselves in the morning.
I came with a big headache, dizziness, nausea and neck stiffness after head injury. I was not even seen by the doctor as the reception nurse said it is normal you feel this way and sent me away. Do not recommend.
Absolutely worst experience in my life and I have been to different ER's before. My sister was crying in pain and still had to wait more than 5 hours to be looked at even after getting x-ray and told that she has a broken bone. If possible go to other places because that one is seriously 0 help whatsoever - staff there also is horrible. Leaving patients without access to food for unknow time can be 10 hours or more on top of it not allowing others to bring food instead either is just simply inhumane. If I could I would rate -0 for this hell place.
