So good in every way. Feel very safe and well taken care of. An obvious choice if I need help again nA special thank you to Dr Olof Srömmer who operated on my knee. Feeling very good so far. Thanks to all the friendly nurses who looked after me
During my visit, I raised the need for a clear medical opinion regarding my hand and what tasks I am actually able to perform at the moment. This applies, for example, to whether it is appropriate or safe for me to lift heavy people, carry heavy bags or perform other stressful tasks in my work.nnHowever, I felt that the doctor did not want to have an in-depth discussion about this and did not want to make a clear or documented medical assessment of my functional ability. For me, this is problematic, since I demand transparency, clarity and correct medical documentation that can form the basis for how I will be able to work safely in the future.nnI also asked questions about how injuries and incidents that occur at work should be documented, and whether routines and assessments differ depending on which healthcare provider or employer is involved. Here too, I felt that I did not receive clear or sufficiently concrete answers.nnOverall, the visit leaves a feeling of lack of clarity and inadequate communication on an issue that for me is crucial to being able to work without the risk of further injury. It creates concern that in practice one needs to be significantly more seriously injured than is currently the case to receive a clear medical assessment and adequate support in a timely manner. It is felt that rehabilitative and preventive interventions are not always prioritized, but that one instead risks having to wait until the symptoms worsen before more concrete help or assessment is given.
