Archipelago Hideaway - Oasis on the Sea & Spa

A magical place!nnI spent a Friday to Sunday here in the beginning of May. Words can’t do this wonderful oasis justice. Vårholma is a small island in a beautiful part of Stockholm archipelago. No cars, just peace and quiet. The cabin is right on the waters edge. There’s plenty to do - two saunas, an outdoor shower, a pizza oven, a two person kayak + a guide to some great walks and view points on the island.nnBut to be honest - I couldn’t bring myself to leave the cozy little cabin. You fall asleep and wake up to the gently rolling waves. There’s plenty of outdoor seating. Chairs and table, sunbeds, a bench to take in the different views and amazing sunsets! There’s a jetty for swimming in the sea or a hot tub for those that prefer a warmer soak.nnThe cabin also has board games and a cinema set up - do watch some movies in the comfy bed. No need to overpack like I did. There’s plenty of towels, a Nespresso machine with coffee pods etc to get you started. Superfriendly hosts that have all the answers you haven’t even thought to ask. Clear instructions on how to get there, what to to and see and other practical things.nnI can’t tell you how rested and recharged I felt after my weekend here. An amazing stay!
