Smells not so nice, the room needed to be vacuumed, not enough lights in the room.nThe girl in the dining room was sweet enough, but she said breakfast had been canceled. For being a Hotel with breakfast included I would expect more than instant coffee with no milk. She said the order had been cancelled.
So. This hotel is cheap, very cheap, so I am reviewing it as in: do you get value for your money. And I say: absolutely.nnI've read some reviews both here and on trip advisor, and to be honest I don't think the bad ones are quite fair. Either that or we were really lucky... but hear me out.nn2 previous times we've been staying at a hostel, which was slightly more expensive then this hotel. If you look purely at the cost of the room.nnBUT: you had to pay to park your car, which cost over 100 crowns to park it in the street overnight. Or you could park it in their garage which was a lot more expensive. At Ariston you have free parking.nnBreakfast was not included at the hostel; if you wanted you could pay I think it was 130 crowns per person for a cheaper option, or more for a more luxurious option. We went for the cheaper option. Granted, that breakfast was slightly better than the one at Ariston, but for the three of us it was also almost 400 crowns extra. As Ariston's breakfast is included I don't think it's bad at all. Breakfast is until 9 and we arrived at 8:20 so naturally the bread had become a bit dry. But there were also crackers, varous muesli options, boiled eggs, sausages and meatballs. I didn't see the fresh fruit or scrambled eggs that the hotel advertises with. Maybe because we were rather late or maybe because they no longer serve it; I don't know. But all in all I was happy with the free breakfast in an already very cheap hotel.nnThe room had an en suite toilet and shower which the hostel didn't. The room was bigger, the beds more comfortable. We didn't have to bring our own beddings and towels like at the hostel. At the hostel our room had no TV or fridge, which Ariston does have.nnFrom the hostel we could take a direct Underground to the city centre, but it was an almost 15 minutes walk. Ariston has a bus stop nearby, but yes you do have to change to a different bus or the Underground. No problem for us.nnI've read complains about thin walls. We haven't heard a thing. Were we lucky? Is it because we had a 3 person room? I don't know. All I know is that we were happy with our stay. The staff we met was friendly. We will definitely book here again.
If you have car this is the perfect location with good prices.nRoom was good just one suggestion if they can upgrade toilets otherwise overall good impression
The straff was very helpful and friendly and I was treated with early access to my room.nThe room was simple, but more space than i though. The walls are a bit on the thin side and the shower was stuck on quite hot water.nIt takes at least two differeent buses or bus and subway to reach the inner city of Stockholm, though since it's located at a nice neighbourhood it's a great alternative to the expensive inner city hotels.nIf you are travelling on a budget but want to stay in a nice hood at a very reasonable rate this is a great option.
So far it's been a bad place to stay. Yes it is cheap, but really they don't look after the place. Run in the morning by a guy who's dressed as about to go on a movie set from the 90's with his leather jacket. You really need to ask the man to get off his chair to actually serve some breakfast. Bro just needs to reconsider his job at this place.nnI really wouldn't want to stay here ever again. Tent in the nature would be way better.nnIn overall feels old. Carpeted everywhere like houses in Britain from the 80's. Just sort of a place that's been let go some time ago and now only gets vacuumed occasionally.nnWould only recommend if you just need a place to crash. Anything beyond one night is not really worth it.
