Story

Art & Technology Blekinge arranges and guides collaboration between freethinking artists and designers from around the globe and manufacturing and creative industries, research and educational institutions in southern Sweden. The project is aimed at bringing radical innovation and a transformation towards sustainability, through a continuous link between professionals from various disciplines. (Introducing freethinking artists and designers as inventors or innovators in industrial environments, where they can collaborate with skilled technicians and work with high-quality production techniques, is new and extremely challenging.)
The project is aimed at intensive international collaboration with the goal to help each other, to learn from each other and to grow together with partners in European cities and regions.
Art & Technology Blekinge is not only aimed at creating sustainable economic growth and the creation of new jobs in the industries, but also on cultural growth and the creation of jobs in the
cultural, touristic and educational sectors to contribute to a balanced society.
The project aims at clear results.
