Outstanding acoustic and beautiful design. Nice example of Scandinavian architecture.
Visited for two hours during a diploma ceremony. The sound quality was quite awful, with a lot of background static and only a single pair of small speakers close to the ceiling. With a lot of speaking, I was expecting EQ to bring out some of the more quiet speakers, but even the people who spoke loudly were just about intelligible.nnComfortable seats, though you won't be able to see over anyone taller than 175cm.
I had the most memorable experience of this place in the course of the Wikimania. The transportation to this place is so easy and convenient and the grounds are so lush. Beyond the rich history that it represents, there are several photo locations that will greatly delight any photo taker.
It is a wonderful lecture hall. I was at the Nobel prize lecture.nBut it is cold .nI understand that it is hard to heat such space, but there are ways. People staid with the jackets on.
