The interior is very nice, incl the tableware, a lot of thinking behind. Although not so many customers, it took a long time before taking order. Food came fast. The 2 service staff are good n pleasant.
Good food. The staff looked bored, annoyed and confused at the same time, which is pretty admirable to combine all those qualities. We had to wait some time although they had plenty of free tables. The food was good it came fast and it was delicious
We had an amazing dining experience at one of the best restaurants we've visited in Sweden. The food was exceptional, the ambiance was incredibly cozy, and the service was outstanding. Special thanks to Vendella and Molly for their fantastic support and making our visit memorable.nThe dishware was beautifully designed and handmade in Italy, adding a unique touch to our meal. We learned that this brand has more locations in Stockholm, where we live, and we can't wait to try them out soon.nThank you!
Another external Pizza Day . This time, we try for the first time BASTA in Sundsvall. Very nice location with lots of decoration and young staff. Unfortunately they are all busy with internal restaurant tasks and everything guest related is quite slow. Our pizzas are disappointing. The dough, and you have a lot of it, is missing the salt which makes it hard to eat. Also the topping is quite minimal which does not match the price. In the future, we will try to avoid this pizza chain.
We were in the mood for Italian food during our visit to Sundsvall, and with BASTA’s high ratings, it quickly became our first choice.nnWe arrived at a quiet time and ordered two carbonaras, one pizza, a simple spaghetti with meatballs – and a focaccia to start and to accompany the pasta. Despite the restaurant not being busy, the food took surprisingly long to arrive.nnWhen the dishes finally came, it was clear the carbonaras had been sitting out waiting for the pizza. The top was dried out, and the food wasn’t hot. The focaccia, which we had looked forward to, was unfortunately dry and dense – far from the airy, flavorful kind we had hoped for.nnWe had planned to finish with tiramisu, but after the disappointment with both the main courses and the starter, we skipped dessert altogether.nnOn a positive note, the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit, which we really appreciated.nnPrice without drinks.
