This is one of the best Italian restaurants. I had dinner here and it was a delicious dinner I had pasta with seafood and it was over the top.nThe only negative part was that I had to wait more the 40 minutes to eat but I went with a big group and the restaurant was full.nGood attention.nI will recommend Basta Italiensk in Umeå to everyone.
The pizza is delicious, especially the Neapolitan. The service wasn't great. We were seated at a table without being told we could sit there for two hours, after which we would be asked to leave. Of those two hours, we waited half an hour for our pizza order. After some time, we wanted to order more drinks to finish our food, but they refused. The waiters thought half an hour wouldn't be enough time to finish our drinks and told us we had to leave in half an hour because the table was reserved after us. We ended up having to wash it all down with water and rush to finish our meal. Everyone was also rushing to take our plates while we were still eating. We sat near the bar, and it was noisy there, with bottles clinking all the time. However, I think it might have been more cozy at the other tables, which were designed for groups.
Umeå deliver. More specific, BASTA delivers.nLunch today at BASTA. Service is excellent. Food, I had a pizza, also excellent. I selected Napoletana. Taste is magnicifant. Douge is equally perfect.
What a nice experience! Went in a group of 4 and was immediately stunned by the decor!nnWe had reserved a table for a Monday evening. I'd recommend booking a table.nnThe location was good! Right in the middle of town on the main square.nnThe prices are immense. Probably not student-friendly prices. A pizza is between 200 - 240 SEK, and pasta dishes going upto 250 SEK. Drinks are also a lot.nnThe food was quite nice. For pizzas I'd recommend the Jackie Chicken pizza. Really nice pizza and didn't have to wait long.nnThe service was fine, but we started to feel rushed when we were done with our food.nnOverall, I would recommend visiting for a fancy meal! Bear in mind the prices, and enjoy the food!
Pasta seafood , very sour then is not balancenBar counter chairs is not comfy. Draft beer is limited choice. Size and glass of beer is not proper.
