An amazing place, this botilanical park has a various plants on all area, I recommend visiting Japan plants part, it feels like a small Japan first. There is a caffe in the middle of the park. The tast of cakes is absolutely amazing, I never tried such a tasty carot cake, also they have refillable coffee policy so you buy a cup and refill as much as you want, also they have sandwiches, we have tried sandwich with shrimp LS and it was delicious. Definitely recommend for family walking and a coffee break.
Incredibly beautiful, well designed, meticulously maintained and phenomenally diverse in species. I could spend two full days here. A glorious sunny summer day. I have not seen this many different types of plants in one place.
Really lovely! I give a 4/5 because I thought 100kr for entrance to the greenhouse was a little too steep. I also thought that the car noise from the nearby roads killed part of the charm.nnWe visited after a day at the museum of natural history, so it was a lovely change. I wasn’t impressed at the beginning, as it looked like the garden was very small. But I was very wrong! There’s plenty to explore, lots of beautiful areas and lovely plants. Mid April is probably a bit too early to visit, but we did enjoy spring flowers, tulips, some rhododendrons, cherry blossoms. I am used to the botanical garden in Lund with lots of plants concentrated in one area but here plants are much more spread.nnPerfect for a picnic. It was completely empty on a Saturday afternoon after some rain.
Every botanical garden is a treat, but this has a lovely setting and nice theme gardens.nThe orangerie is a good spot for a break too.nI would not visit the glasshouses again. They had not so much specials to offer.
I went in a week day in September not knowing it was the day were we had access only to outside garden ! Everything was closed but it looked so beautiful and very nice walk path around it I can imagine how it looks in summer time !
