Excellent location in the city centre of the Uppsala city. Everything is walking distance, from tourist spot to shopping or restaurant.nService is so good, breakfast is super tasty and really best! Added was my room having the dome view!nThey have an in house kitchen which you can use for cooking your own.nI, coming to a new continent and city, before joining my new job found this place as a home away from home. Infact I cooked a comfort meal too. The in house coffee machine gives you 24*7 best coffee of all kinds and chocolate nVery much recommended.
We had arrived late in the evening from the airport. Had to call a number who let us in explaining kindly on how to pick up a key from a box. that was helpful. The room they gave was unmade and was yet to be cleaned. Another call helped get a clean room. Internet could have been better and the shower ran all over the floor and may need rework but everything else was good. In the center and at an accessible place, staff are kind and helpful. Maybe mine was an exceptional situation.
Location is great, but does it really matter in a city so small you can walk side to side in half an hour? The rest is… one of the worst hotel I’ve ever seen. Small rooms, disgusting bathrooms, broken appliances, holes, noises, no curtains to block light from outside. Avoid.
Value for money, it was a good basic room with comfortable beds. Nice view of the church in the center of Uppsala. The bathroom was a little old and small, but functional. A basic breakfast, we would love to see some more green options big plus for pancakes. We got an early check in wish was appreciated. A bit noisy in the corridors during the day/morning.
I had a twin room on the 1st floor overlooking the street. I enjoyed the vibe and busyness of the street which quietened down at a reasonable hour.nnThe room had pretty much everything you needed except for body lotion which would be handy. The bathroom was a great size and had great water pressure and temperature. The beds are cosy and pillows were great. It also has a separate ironing facility on the 1st floor.nnI do need to mention that Oscar on the front desk made my stay so warm and welcoming. He was so cheerful, helpful and had a smile that lights up your day.
