Would be a good idea to extend the visiting schedule.

Good for children

I think a 4H farm fulfills an important function. The grandchildren enjoyed meeting the rabbits and the cat. We saw pigs, horses and goats but not the sheep. We were there on a weekday afternoon. It was a bit difficult to get a handle on what was there and where we were going. It felt a bit unclear. It wasn't until we were about to leave that we found someone to ask. I would have liked there to have been a number at the parking lot, for example, or a reference to where you could go for information. It was good that you could go into the lodge and eat your packed lunch. There were also some toys and crayons and paper. This was especially appreciated when it rained for a while. Several of the cars and tractors for children were broken. They get worn out when used, but it would have been better if they had been put away. We did find a small tractor that was appreciated and also some bobby cars etc. Nettles were growing near the rabbit enclosures, which we tried to step on.nBut... the grandson was happy anyway. The favorites were the rabbits and the pigs.nThe farm is nice and I understand it is even nicer earlier in the summer. We were there in September.

Beautiful farm with a free-roaming pony and toys for the kids. We were then able to pet the sheep with the guide, a wonderful experience.nThere's an indoor area for when it rains, and even an outdoor barbecue area.

Very good place to take the children on an excursion so they can meet the most common animals.
