Camp site at a beautiful place, though expensive. What I really disliked were the bad sanitary conditions small, very few, plenty of insects in there, dirty and did not seem to get cleaned either.
We camped twice here this year. And it was ever so nice. Large pitches, plenty of space. Too few showers, though, for such a large campsite, causing queues in front of the showers every day. However, it didn't matter. The atmosphere is relaxed, the visitors are relaxed and we are on holiday. No need to be upset if one can't jump under a shower as one pleases. Breakfast is so so, but the employees are very friendly.nnFrom the campsite, you walk straight to the village and from there you have a nice walk along the coast part of a long-distance walk. Definitely worth it!nSo all in all four stars.
Lovely campsite with a nice chilled vibe. Was able to turn up late without reservation and pay online, which we appreciated. Only stayed one night en route to Oslo, and was a good price for that. Lots of comments here about the facilities, but I would say that the toilets and showers are now of a good standard and plenty of them, so don’t let that put you off!
Great camping site on a former farm. It has well marked and spacious slots and is fairly priced and offers places for bicycler campers, cars+tents, camper vans and motor homes. It’s a bit off the tourist tracks and therefore pretty calm. Showers and toilets are great and kept clean and the staff is super friendly. They have a small open air venue for concerts in the summer which we attended yesterday and it was a nice experience you have to pay for the tickets of course when staying on site. A breakfast can be ordered and is served in the old and pretty barn. If you need more on-site amenities or a quick walk to the nearest attractions than this site is not for you, but it’s a good place to reach when on a bicycle. Overall a great place to stay and we surely will return when in the vicinity again…
First the good points:nLarge site with plenty of plots, very quiet. Online booking works well. Unfortunately that's it.nPoints we didn't appreciate:nWe had the feeling that no love and care have been put into the site. Mouldy shower curtains, dark and tight toilet block fitted in a container from the 80s, half of the hand washing bassins removed probably due to lack of space and toilets cubicles so tight and dark, that you have to leave the door open to move and to get the corridor light shining in and we are slim. Outdoor kitchen without weather protection and full of leaves.nWorst campsite we said during a 2,5 week Sweden road trip. Far below comparably priced sites.
