Översatt av Google 2019 lämnade jag min 1966 impala super sport cabriolet. Detta var tänkt att vara en restaurering utan inredning. Jag betalade ungefär 23 000 $ för ett jobb på 30 000 $. This was supposed to be a restoration with no interior. I paid approximately $23,000 on a $30,000 job. This job has not been completed. I have asked for my property to be returned to me. Gilbert will no longer communicate on the completion of the project or return of my vehicle, enclosed is a photo of when the vehicle was dropped off. In the last photo we were able to get if it’s current condition. We were also informed that all the parts to the car on site however, nobody can show us where they’re at. I just can’t believe how they do business, really if they can’t do the work all they have to say is that they are at capacity but instead all they are creating is bad reputation among their unhappy customers

Gilbert continually lied about everything. He had my car for 5 months for a paint job and had continuous excuses for why the car wasn’t done. He made up stories about problems with my car when those problems didn’t exist and then he asked for $2000 more than the original estimate. I ended up losing $ due to non refundable plane tickets because the car wasn’t done when promised. On May 13th he promised he would give back $500 to compensate and would mail it immediately but, it is now a week into July and the refund has never arrived. More lies!! When I picked up the car, it ended up with a crack in the grill shell and the paint wasn’t buffed out on the bottom of one door. Save yourself money and a major headache - go elsewhere for any car work. UPDATE ~~ May 2023 It is now over a year later and the “it’s in the mail check” never arrived!! Found more problems with the vehicle that didn’t exist when I took it to Gilbert. Do NOT do business with this guy!!

Every mechanic I called told me they were 1-2 months out from even being able to take a look at my truck. Gilbert told me to bring it down that day! He got me back the truck within a matter of a couple weeks! When i gave Gilbert my truck it was literally in pieces. There was only half an engine block, radiator was hanging on by a thread, and the A/C had never worked the entire time i have owned the truck. He replaced and fixed everything in 3 weeks! Tack Gilbert! Original Had an exceptionally good experience with Gilbert, the new Owner of Bob's Custom Paint. I took my 66 Mustang convertible for paint while Bob still owned the business; they painted the car but the workmanship turned out to be mediocre at best, with poor blocking, and waves in the paint. After looking at the car for a few months I finally came to the conclusion that the job was so poorly done that I could not live with it; only to find out that during those months, the business had changed hands. At that point something extraordinary happened; I brought the car back and the new Owner Gilbert agreed that there were numerous issues with the paint and without any help from the previous owner who refused to help or compensate Gilbert he took it upon himself to at no cost to me strip the entire car down to bare metal again and repaint it. Gilbert showed an ext-ordinary amount of integrity; he corrected all the issues with the paint and did a very fine job repainting the car and I cannot help but give him and his shop my highest recommendation. Thank you Gilbert !

Owner is very cocky. Told me he wouldn't take my truck in because they are too "Busy".. Sounds like a lazy business owner who doesn't know to run his business, and WORST of all. Thinks he is too good for my money and will get his business else where. Little did he know I was willing to write a check for amount they would ask for just for the sake of convenience. Wouldn't recommend to anybody.
