I'm not a fish eater but there are several activities to do in Bønan besides buying fish. At the smokehouse this day there was smoked whitefish and pepper salmon with both pink pepper and some lemon seasoning.nnThe owner was very nice and told me that he was 1 of 2 smokehouses out on Bønan that was active. He also told me what it was like to fish now during these stormy and rainy days and that it was stressful. 200 SEK per kg for smoked whitefish and 400 for the pepper salmon.
Having coffee at Bönan's café was fantastic with a wide range of delicious pastries and luxurious shrimp sandwiches. There was also other food to eat of course.nnThe area was quiet and beautiful. A visit to the pier below the café showed beautiful surroundings and views towards the horizon.
Beautiful and peaceful place by the sea, nice to stroll around.
Lovely charming old fishing village. There is a café and a beautiful lighthouse. Several fishermen to buy fish from.
