Borgen

Borgen consists of a few simple routes with well maintained paths. Plenty of wildlife and foliage to look at. The climb to the top offers a nice rest area with picnic benches but not much else. In the winter and autumn the streams are alive but the paths can be muddy and slippery in places.

Kids: is there a playground? YES! Everywhere. Nice for playing and relaxing in the 'wild' nature. Picnic tables available.

Nature reserve Borgen in VallåkranLocated at the Råån valley lies this gem. The path that runs along the river is easy to walk. There is a very rich bird life here. There is a place to grill and on the plateau where a castle used to be there are two tables with benches. Imprints from a six-metre dinosaur have been found here. The clay found here is still used for ceramics.
