Borrgården i Ljusdal

A good place to stay. There is a kitchen on the first and second floor. Toilets and bathrooms on all floors. The rooms where good it just that it would be much better if separate rooms would have there own bathroom.

Beautiful place, kind of rustic, but the house is very old and needs renovations. We had a dog with us, so we got the room with direct outside door. Dog toys, bowls, bed, and a leash were nice. Uncomfortable beds, a bit cold, and a weird buzz sound all night make me take off stars. It was very clean, I must admit, and continental fresh breakfast was tasty.nWe paid almost 1500sek for a night 2+dog, linen, breakfast and cleaning. Quite much for that standard, with a bathroom outside the room.nIf you're young, with a backpack and sleeping bag -it's fine and cheap.

Beautiful historic rustic place. Very well kept and clean. Very friendly and helpful owner. Breakfast has super home baked bread and local produce. Good for the solitary person looking for calm and also good for the family looking for some good bonding time. Lots of activities to do all around and use as a base for exploring the area.nJuly/August 2022.nWe came back on our return journey to stay again here. This time we took the bed and breakfast option in the hotel section instead of the previous vandrahem section.nBed linen and towels are included.nWe will be back again. nAnd again, August 2023 was a rainy one!nIt was a good stopover to dry out and sleep well during the annual motorcycle ride to and from the north coast!

We stayed here twice, once in the vandrahem and once in the B&B. Both experiences were excellent. The customer service was excellent, the beds comfortable, the environment tranquil and relaxing. We will be back!

Each room should have own toilette.
