Café Mikaelsgården

It’s kind of a motel with very old rooms, some better than others I heard. Charming old style houses very authentic. There is a fire place in my room 102, I updated Picts unfortunately can’t use it. That’s really a pitty I love fire places. The restaurant is in the same style with an unusable fire place as well. A friend of mine reserved for me and booked me a dinner. I didn’t get to choose the meal: eat what your being served, I like this concept. It’s like staying at somebody’s house. The house holds a secular beer brewery unoperational that is not open to public but the owner is brewing his own hydromel. Ask nicely you may get some. The water and the honey are both home made. Yes there is a spring, and a bee hive. The spring serves all houses tap water, so basically you are taking your shower on spring water.

Old fashioned feeling in a way, I liked the place

We had booked a 4-bed room and there were only 3 beds we could find. But it went well because there weren't 4 of us. There were no amenities such as small fridge, kettle and no glasses not in the bathroom either.nThen they charge SEK 100/dog/night without cleaning the room when you stay more nights.nWe stayed with 4 small doggies weighing a total of 14 kg together for two nights. We had to pay SEK 800 in addition without them cleaning the room. So the accommodation was very expensive compared to the standard.nSmall breakfast but ok
