Café Sjöholmen

Had a pit stop here on our way to Karshamn and I just wanted to stay there forever. Beautiful calming place with great fika.

A stop well worth it. We ended up here by chance when the kids saw a glass sign. A wonderful welcome even though we popped in on a Friday right at closing time, the kids ate ice cream, we adults each had a coffee and I had an Angel food that took me back to childhood, it was called something else right here, so good. We were having a football match on the nearby pitch, the ball just bought by the couple running the cafe ended up in the lake and drifted out. Resulted in an unplanned dip in the beautiful adjacent lake. We will be happy to come back when we have the roads past.

A donut place that doesn't look like much to the world, but a very happy surprise when you find it. Seating outside by the water, homely interior. And good food! Perfect for lunch or a coffee.
