Cassandra's Steakhouse

Cute restaurant in the town square. They have a verity of things on a menu like grill steaks, salads, pizza and more. Been there with my family 3 kids everyone were happy! Definitely will come back!

Cassandra's Steakhouse is situated at the Town Square and worth a visit.nThey know how to cook a steak and the food also tastes good while also being at a great value. The portions are of good size.nThe presentation is is good and not only your tastebuds are being pleased.nThe staff is friendly and welcoming and are quick to get the food out of the kitchen.nVisited Cassandra's a couple of times and was not disappointed.

Well, I'm not a hundred percent certain that they deserve three stars. The Mrs ordered a fish & chips and I a grilled beef with three kinds of sauce and a potato gratin.nnThe menu said that the meat would be done according to order but the question was never put by the stressed out waitress, coming to our table after a ten minute wait.nnThe food came after a long and hungry hour, and was a mixed bag of great, terrible and acceptable. The fish & chips where more like fish fingers of the worst kind, and no vinegar, the promised tzatziki was replaced by remoulade and accompanied by black olives? What!?nnMy beef was well done, slightly on the dry side, and not medium as I would have preferred it. The potato gratin was great, and so was the sauce bearnaise and the barbecue sauce superb. But was those semifinished? If so they had hidden it well.nnThe beef was resting on top of a small pile of bitter vegetables, probably picking up the bitterness of what ever been overdone on the frying tablennAnd both our dishes was served on wooden platters of questionable age. Not fresh. And serving a meat dish with a creamy gratin on the side on a plate without a ridge? Where does the potatoes eventually end up? In your lap for sure.nnDo their defence I must say they probably made all they could with the town full of antiques market visitors, but if you can't manage the number of seats, then get some more staff or reduce the number of tables...

I do enjoy the hospitality of the owners. I am an occasional UK visitor, and they remember me. Great attention and superb food. Great value for money.

Great tasty food and reactive staff! A little pricey!
