I’ve been to ChopChop many times and usually the food is good, but today was a big disappointment. We ordered the same chicken dish we always do, but this time the chicken was strange – very soft, had an unpleasant smell, and did not taste right. We ate a few pieces but unfortunately had to leave a lot of it. Really not what we expected.
Just dined at ChopChop and was blown away! The beef rice plate was a star—tender beef, crisp veggies, and fluffy rice, all coated in a savory sauce. Then the sushi rolls: fresh, perfectly rolled, with a mix of textures and flavors that danced on my tongue. Every bite showed attention to quality and taste. Whether you crave hearty comfort food or elegant sushi, ChopChop delivers. A must - try for food lovers!
Considering the price, the food is a good value. It's filling and flavorful, though perhaps not the most authentic Asian cuisine. Pictured is lime chicken, bamboo beef and karaage.
The quality and hygiene at this Chop Chop used to be good. Visited mutiple times this year and noticed that the quality of the service and cooking are getting worse and the tables and chairs are not clean anymore.nnDuring our latest visit, the fried rice, Hot basil chicken and springrolls were cold. The quantity of vegetables for our extra order of greens were half the size of what we normally received.nnTables were sticky with sauce stains and chairs had crumbs. We had to do some cleaning ourselves before starting our meal.nnWhen we tried to get some spoons, we were told that everything was in the wash.nnHow did things here get so bad in such a short time?
The restaurant was pretty quiet when we came it was around 15:00. We had good food that was presented very well I would say. The portion was satisfactory.nThe only problem we faced was there was no paper towels in the drink station, and when asked, the staff said that it was finished. They even said we could take some paper from the toilet if we so desired. This attitude was bad which was very poor customer service.
