Stayed a week have to say most charming and elegant hotel with great food and drinks the service was nothing less then perfect.nThis place is for those who really enjoy the wonderful landscape next to the water.nGreat place have castle ruins near in chanting old ruins.nThe flags of the nations from around the world flying in all there glory next to the waters. The overall comfort is that of tranquility by far the best rest a person can achieve. Enjoy the bar maybe some coffee in a tranquility setting outside clear magic fresh air bring a sweater it can get cold outside.
Experienced a pleasant stay at Kompaniet. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Service was nice and polite. Breakfast was alright, a standard “Strawberry hotels” standard, with somewhat limited options.nnAn extra plus is that dinner and “afternoon tea” coffee or tea and some sweets are included in the price. Diner is alright, it’s buffet style but with only one option and some salad. Desserts are not included in the price but coffee or tea are. There is a bar if you want to buy drinks or snacks.nnThere is a relax area with sauna and jacuzzi free of charge but I didn’t try it.nnPretty good location close to the old castle ruins and city center and plenty of paid parking available.
A great hotel to spend a couple of days at on our cycling trip. The room and staff were great and we really enjoyed the food, not to mention the freely available tea and coffee. The location is great, overlooking the river with the centre of town just 5 minutes walk. The only disappointment was that the nearby brewery was closed
Probably the friendliest woman at the reception i've ever met. She had a smile that really seemed genuine. The interior design was very pretty. Dinner, breakfast and the spa area was included in the price. There wasn't much to see for us in this area but it was an absolutely perfect spot since we toured through Sweden.
The hotel has a lovely location next to Nyköpingsån, the river, passing through the town. Rooms facing this way have a nice view, the other main side of the hotel sadly sees a parking lot.nnIt's a busy spa and conference center, of which I've only utilized the latter. The conference rooms are very nice, with comfortable seating and nice tables, whiteboards, etc.nnThe service is strange, they tend to have just one person staff both bar and reception, and don't allow running a tab or putting drinks on your room. This leads to a huge bottle neck in the service department.nnThe buffet food used to be quite nice as conference guests, but as a frequent visitor it has definitely seen a huge drop in quality. My most recent visit October 2022, had such dreadful lunches and dinners that it was laughable, and I didn't finish a single one of my meals, even skipping the last one completely and heading home early instead.nnThe rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. I do personally think that the bathrooms floor heating is running much too hot, but I'm sure other guest may enjoy the heat. The room itself can only be cooled by opening the window, which makes me glad not to be a summer guest of theirs.
