Not what I expected from its luxurious appearance in the lobby.nnRooms are quite nicely decorated, but with exposed concrete which makes you hear everything from the neighbouring rooms and hallway. The bathroom interior is not on par with the rest of the room and feels a bit cheap. It’s also lacking toiletries such as cotton swaps.nnMaintenance can definitely be improved. A few hairs om the pillows and some dirt on the floor. Curtains were hanging loose and was not fixed despite complaints. There are plenty of windows, but they are narrow and require a dark curtain each, which makes it difficult to make the room entirely dark at night.nnBreakfast is about average in Sweden but requires booking a time slot. The last slot on a Saturday is 10:30 am, which doesn’t rhyme well with their promised 45 min breakfast promise since the breakfast close at 11 am and checkout is at 11 am.nnLocation is decently central with only a 10-15 min walk to the city centre.nnAll-in-all I will probably choose another hotel for my next visit.
A very elegant and comfortable hotel. Breakfast is amazing and you have all the options you can imagine. Rooms are very clean with great view. The mattress is very soft which is not my favorite. Overall I stayed their twice and will always come back.
A fantastic hotel with beautiful, comfortable, and highly functional rooms – everything was spotless. The breakfast is an absolute dream, with such a wide variety that it’s hard to decide what to choose. The rooftop bar offers a breathtaking view over Gothenburg, although we personally enjoyed the cocktails in the “Living Room” even more.nThe service is outstanding across the board – whether housekeeping, restaurant staff, or reception, it truly sets a benchmark. Highly recommended!
Wow. Beautiful hotel. Rooms and facilities were extremely good. A pre-ordered lunch which was not vegan for me was replaced within 5 minutes with a vegan option, like it was no issue at all.nnThe hotel was stunning, the location ideal, the staff friendly and I would stay here again!
I recently had a delightful stay at the Clarion Hotel Draken in mid-October and would gladly recommend it. Special thanks to Nathalie for her accommodating and generous assistance, particularly when we faced booking issues due to an error from Booking.com. She proactively contacted them on my behalf, and despite needing to make a new reservation, the hotel graciously provided us with a complimentary room upgrade and spa entry.nnThe hotel's ambiance felt luxurious, the cleanliness was commendable, and the views from our 26th-floor room were spectacular. The room featured an attractive industrial ceiling, though the pillows could have offered better support. Breakfast required a reservation and was exceptional, with a variety of options accommodating a halal diet. We also enjoyed the spa, which provided a unique experience, including an ice room. Another thing is that I wish the hotel would do a set up or any sort of balloon decoration in the room for my husbands birthday but sadly they don’t provide that.so I had to do it myselfnnThe autumn weather added to our pleasant stay, with sunshine accompanying the chill. The hotel’s location is convenient, within 15 minutes of major attractions and easily accessible via tram and airport bus.nnI would come back and visit this hotel
