The Fjallraven pants & hoodie I wanted had a sign that said they would be available in my size, yet sadly they were not. Everything else I liked immensely. Having to buy beer in groups of 24 is wild. Needing a restaurant license to enter the liquor section is also interesting.
A wholesale store only in town. But worth visit. You can buy everything from there and perfect for family pack and goods for Xmas decorations and gifts can choose.nAnd their Puzza slice and Sausages are quite big when hungry after groceries yummy must try!
Nice to have the opportunity to visit the only Costco in Sweden! It is about a 1/2-hour bus/metro ride from the city center, but it is definitely interesting if you have been to Stockholm many times and want to visit a “off-the-beaten-path” location besides the usual touristy spots. The layout of the merchandises in the store is similar to that in the U.S., but it is definitely less crowded and chaotic than those in big cities in the US. The one noticeable difference is that all wine and beer as well as other alcoholic beverages are kept in a locked area so you cannot grab any alcoholic beverage items on your own.
Terrible, rude customers service!nWe were thrilled when Costco Arninge first opened in 2022. My husband and I became regulars—visiting the store weekly , excited to stock up on quality goods with great value. Unfortunately, what began as a fantastic store has taken a significant turn for the worse over the past 6–9 months, and we’re now seriously considering canceling our membership.nnThe most unbearable issue is the increasingly poor attitude of the staff. We’ve encountered multiple situations where their behavior was not only unprofessional, but outright rude, ignorant.nnBeyond staff behavior, the store itself has also dropped in quality:nnThe bakery section now looks unappetizing and feels neglected. The last a few months the pastries we purchase havent been atable to the extend that we just ignore the section.nnFruit and vegetable section is unorganised and mostly rotten vegetables.nnThe freshly prepared food area has fewer options and declining quality.nnOn multiple occasions we’ve received spoiled products.nnWe truly hope the management steps in to make necessary and immediate changed both on training staff and the state of the store.nnIf nothing changes in the near future, we’ll have to seriously question whether our membership is still worth it. A once-great store has sadly lost its way... miss the well organised, old professional staff !
I am surprised at the low rating others have given to this costco. Costco is AMAZING! I mean it has a WIDE range of products at fantastic value for money prices. You cannot beat Costco quality for the price it is sold at. Keep in mind that Costco is essentially for people who want to shop for more than one person ans want p buy items in bulk or wholesale. That said, Costco does sell many items as single. It is membership based but it is absolutely worth it. Products include great fresh produce, frozen food, packaged food, alcohol, meats, fish, vegetables, apparel, household essentials, tools, electronics, jewellery. It has a car and tire service, pharmacy and vision centre. It has ready to eat products and its deli serves its iconic hot dogs, pizza, chicken bake and soft serve ice cream at unbeatable prices. I am shocked that more people haven't discovered just how much money one can save at Costco without ever having to compromise on quality.
