Best SFI I ever had. The school is really well organized, I am sad I had to leave after moving to another comune. Cia was a great teacher!
You drastically depend on the teacher you are assigned. They have very good ones but they also have horrible ones that make you wanna quit the course. So, it is a russian roulette.
The worst learning experience at all time. Have teacher spoke in front of the whole classroom that she dislike Chinese. How can they have such unprofessional teacher who made racial comments as such? Also, during the whole term, not give any opportunity for the student to demonstrate the ability of the language by not calling the student with Chinese background to answer any questions. If the school cares about the teacher's qualification, please contact me. I can provide more details.
I studied from scratch level C to D there for a few months some time ago.nnThe best teachers were Sara and Julia . Their style are different but both are very professional, engaging, efficient, patient, organized.nThe focus is always on the students and there is no denial that i improved my level quickly thanks to them & hard work, of course.nnAs a language teacher myself, i know when someone is prepared and when they just don't & give you paaaages of useless grammar exercises with no explanation ‍ with a clear view of what to achieve, how & how long vocabulary, grammar, listening.... It was a real pleasure to learn with them.nTack så mycket!n
My SFI learning experience at Cuben has been great. I learn so much at every class and there are some really good teachers at this school. The content they provide is engaging and useful, and I feel the teachers really put in their work to prepare for each class. Yulia is an amazing teacher especially - she explains very well, in a structured and comprehensive manner, and shares many useful tips for learning swedish as a second language. Definitely recommend this place!
