Dalslands Skafferi

Ordered the fish and seafood stew- which came with no fish and was barely luke warm, prawns were over cooked. Ordered a caesar salad which was grossly overpriced and seemed more like a side salad portion. For 175 kr you expect a bit more lettuce! Club sandwich was cold and lacked filling, the sauce had been sat for so long it had a thick film on it. We waited over half an hour for the food. This was a disappointing birthday lunch for my mother in law who lives locally.

Delicious food, every course was incredibly tasty. The restaurant is perfectly located, directly at the shore, the service was kind, funny and uncomplaining when we as a big group became a bit louder. But...nThe process of taking the order was unusual to us. We were 14 guests so we were asked to take the order of all people before and send a list online back to Dalslands Skafferi.nIt's complicated when none of them are around, lots of chatting needed. No English menu on their page, only swedish. We had to find somebody who could translate - and after all the restaurant changed the menu totally so the whole order process had to start again.nResume: one of the best locations in the area, great menu, tasty food, eye-catching pizza oven, best view - but if you want to come as a bigger group you need a little time.
