Story

DharmaAid is a nonprofit, politically independent, animal rescue organization (NGO) based in Helsingborg, Sweden, We conduct our work and missions mostly in Sweden and Rumania but also internationally.

Our vision is to educate people on the importance of companion animals in our society, a world in which animals are no longer harmed and exploited for human gain, but allowed to live out their lives in peace. We work hard to bring an end to practices that involve animal abuse and exploitation.

DharmaAid aims to educates policymakers and the public about animal abuse and promotes kind treatment of animals.

PART OF OUR WORK
• Rescue missions for animals in distress on the streets and/or in the shelters.

• Investigating and reporting Veterinary Malpractice

We is dependent on voluntary support in order to be able to help animals. DharmaAid and its operations are therefore all of its members and donors. It is the membership fees, inheritances and other types of gifts that enable DharmaAid to be a strong voice that represents the animals.

DharmaAid was founded in 2017 and is dedicated to establishing and defending the rights of all animals.
