This was my first visit to Drop Coffee. It was quite busy in the morning, but the baristas were incredibly efficient and very friendly. I ordered an egg sandwich and a cappuccino. The sandwich was good, but the coffee was the real highlight. It was smooth and well-balanced without being bland, with a rich coffee flavor that really stood out.nnI accidentally spilled my coffee, so the beautiful latte art didn't survive , but luckily it didn't affect the taste at all!
Just outside my hotel and, to be honest, I chose the hotel because I saw this place! Let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint.nnNow, I’m a coffee snob - and proud of it. And this place has a different roast in the hopper each day which keeps things interesting for espresso-based drinkers. However, they have a lot more to offer - which is why I had a double espresso each day and also a filter coffee they use Kalita - I believe the updated version.nnDidn’t to pastries, but they do look lush.nnThe vibe in here is super chill and the aesthetic is exactly what I wanted in a Swedish coffee shop - clean, stylish and a nice place to be.nnThe service is great too. I went more in the morning where there was an Asian lady who served me. She made great coffee and was super attentive to everyone. She jogged around making sure that everyone was cared for and everyone got their beverages on time. She didn’t look stressed, but just happy and in control. The place was kept neat and tidy too.
The pour over was fantastic, I loved it. Great cortado. I loved the music in the place — calm and perfect for relaxing. The staff has a wonderful energy; the way they interact with and treat their customers is very special. They explain the characteristics of their coffees in detail so the experience adapts perfectly to personal preferences. Highly recommended if you want a high-quality specialty coffee. The desserts are also absolutely delicious.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
This was my third time coming to Drop Coffee during my stay in Stockholm, which probably says everything already. I kept finding myself coming back here because I genuinely loved both the coffee and the atmosphere.nThe café has such a relaxed and authentic specialty coffee vibe, the staff are always friendly, and you can really feel that the people here know exactly what they’re doing with coffee. Every cup I had was excellent.nI’ve been into specialty coffee for years and places like this are the reason Nordic coffee culture has such a strong reputation. Amazing beans, great roasting and consistently great coffee.nAnd of course I had to take some beans home with me
We would have liked a better variety of sandwiches. My husband had the egg and mayo one, nothing special. The coffee is decent.nThe service was really good and the athletes is nice and cosy. Perfect for a rainy day.
