Story
Art Lab Gnesta is a place for creating, debating and experimenting with connections between art and society. We are interested in the relationships between art and artists, the local community, schools, art institutions and others involved in the arts or social issues – locally, nationally and internationally. In the old brewery in Gnesta you will find studios, workshops, an art gallery and project spaces.

With the art in focus, there is an openness in our activities and projects take different forms: publications, exhibitions, workshops, talks and other events produced and delivered at the brewery. In our residency programme, we invite artists to explore and develop ideas that fuel the quality of the discussion on contemporary life and its challenges.
