About Art and illustration Story Ever since Mattias Frisk finished his studies in art and art history he has made his living as an artist and illustrator. His paintings do often rely on a conceptual fundament that upholds a dark fairytale world which blends with contemporary events. As an illustrator he has foremost made album covers and has worked with a number of international clients. Frisk work in a lot of different techniques and materials: from traditional oil on canvas, gouache, pen on paper, collage and photos to digital media. Education (Linköping University,Sweden) Bachelor of Arts (180 credits) in art history and visual communication, Master of Arts (60 credits)in art history and visual communication, Master of Arts (120 credits) in Culture and Media Production.
