About Sweden based death/sludge/doom unit AGE OF WOE. www.ageofwoe.net Official webshop: http://ageofwoe.tictail.com Story Sweden/Iceland based death/sludge/doom unit AGE OF WOE are fueled by the desire to explore new soundscapes in the vast landscapes of punk and metal, leaving the Gothenburg sound in the dust. The band has been active since 2010 and has recorded two critically acclaimed LPs so far - “Inhumanform” (2013) and “An Ill Wind Blowing” which was released on 14th October 2016 through War Anthem Records. Age Of Woe have worked with industry’s renowned producers and engineers such as Lennart Östlund (Led Zeppelin, Candlemass) from Polar Studios, Carlos Sepulveda (No Hawaii, Joe Baresi, Psycore), Brad Boatright at AudioSiege (Sleep, High on Fire, From Ashes Rise) and Linus Andersson (Goat, Yuri Gagarin). With their second album, “An Ill Wind Blowing”, they venture deeper into the darker and heavier aspects of the filth ridden metal that was unleashed on the debut album “Inhumanform”. Age Of Woe have done seven full European tours (Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Iceland, Czech Republic, Poland, Luxembourg, Portugal), shared the stage with legends such as Soulfly, Implore, Skitsystem, Truckfighters, Kongh, Moloken, Pelican, Fistula and made notable appearances at festivals: Incubate, Scorched Tundra Festival, SWR Barroselas Metalfest, Suicide Fest, Kill The Plastic Smile Fest.
