Welcome to the fanpage of Sandaholm Restaurang & Camping.It`s a nice quiet place in Sweden at a beautiful lake that is surrounded by forest.Visit our website www.sandaholm.com to get an impression of the campingground and all its facilities.

Story
In October 2007 we (Ruud and Hilde) took over Sandaholm Restaurang & Camping.
We come from the Netherlands and started a new life in wonderful Sweden.
Sandaholm has always been a trainstation. The last ride for the train was in 1954.
Thereafter, the station converted to restaurant.
The campsite has existed for over 30 years and is properly upgraded by us. The buildings have been thoroughly renovated and the electric facilities are up to date.
In the spring of 2011 there are 12 special motorhome pitches realized. In the autumn we started  the construction of the chalets so they are ready for the season in 2012, just as the service station for the motorhomes.
The location of Sandaholm Restaurang & Camping is truly unique, a beautiful lake with clear water, big fish and a large sandy beach is one of the most beautiful places in Sweden. Nature is still real and overwhelming, vast forests and "mountains" with many animals, berries, and mushrooms.
Sandaholm Restaurang & Camping is located in the beautiful Värmland near the town Årjäng. It lies at the border Sweden /Norway, easily accessible via the E18.

"Sandaholm Camping in Årjäng, is gelegen aan een meer, Järnsjön met een eigen strand direct aan het bos waar je mooie wandelingen kunt maken.Op het kampeerterrein is er vrije plaats keuze. Er kan gratis gebruikt gemaakt worden van Wi-Fi en er is altijd schoon sanitair.De camping is voorzien van enkele speeltoestellen en grillplaatsen.In ons restaurant kunt u genieten van lekker eten, warme maaltijden, broodjes en ijsjes.In het restaurant is de receptie gevestigd. Hier is ook verhuur van kano, SUP, waterfiets en motorboot en de kioskverkoop van o.a. souvenirs.Naast het kampeerterrein hebben we camperplaatsen met de mogelijkheid van het legen van de toilet en grijs watertank, waterpunten en beschikking over toiletten in het hoogseizoen."
