About The institute of interactive object (IOIO) was founded in 2004 and is a part of Malmö University at the institution of art, culture and communication. Story The institute of interactive object (IOIO) was founded in 2004 and is a part of Malmö University at the institution of art, culture and communication. IOIO is a mixed media lab and since the start IOIO has actively be promoting digital design education and has been dealing with the intersection of many fields as art, fashion, architecture and most traditional design practises. At IOIO faculty members and staff work together with student and has a long history of worldwide research collaborations. The lab is committed to taking a “bottoms up” approachto both education and research where non-traditional methods has become tradition.
