About At BNL we research and develop technologies to restore quality of life after traumatic events leading to amputations or motor impairments. Story At the Biomechatronics and Neurorehabilitation Lab, Chalmers University of Technology, we research and develop technologies to restore quality of life after traumatic events leading to amputations or motor impairments. Our work is strongly based on the decoding of motor volition via myoelectric pattern recognition. We enjoy working on biomedical instrumentation, bioelectric signals processing, machine learning and human-machine interfaces. Virtual and augmented reality are commonly used in our work to provide timely and appropriate visual feedback. We are as interested in understanding the human brain, as in translating neural engineering technology to help patients in need.
