Story The whole story started in the beginning of 1980, when Anne-Marie Nilsson and her husband Bo Nilsson started a gourmet store with great success in a market hall at Lilla torg in Malmoe. They sold everything from high quality spices, Herbs, coffee, tea, marmalades, oils, etc (the list can be much longer) of absolutely the highest quality. The company did connect with many first class suppliers fast, and they are still today important suppliers to Kryddlagret. From that day started regular customers slowly grow from well-reputation restaurants, other gourmet/special stores, gift stores, Internet retailer, bakeries, meat-fish producers etc., Even retailers from abroad started, and still make business with us. In November 1985 Kryddlagret became a detached company from and in the same time they moved to bigger storeroom in other part of Malmoe, instead of the underground facilities under the market place. The shop in the markethall did shift owners in 1998. Kryddlagret have never done any marketing or advertising so far during all of these years, the company are living on faithful and constant new addition of costumers and its good reputation. We are looking positive on the development in the future. Right up from the start, did we have spices, herbs, sun dried vegetables/nuts, tea, coffee, marzipan/chocolate, gourmet products, and exiting seasonings as our business concept. To find and be a part of trends and in matter of taste, are vi always keeping us up to date thru influences from foreign food cultures and new open minded master cooks and record innovators within restaurants and the food industry etc. Secrecy concerning our costumers, special blending of seasonings etc, is a matter of course, when our fundamental principle is: quality, ethics and morale. We believe in long-range state of affairs and long-range of thrust.
