About Indie Rock ☆ Made in Sweden ☆ Story Up and coming Skövde (A locality in Sweden) - based Indie Rock outfit Surfin’ Charlie formed in early 2013 around the talents of Julius Mann (Vocals, Guitar) Anton Norrström (Bass, Vocals) and Marcus Selmosson (Drums). The trio, which has drawn comparisons to everyone from The Hives and Red Hot Chili Peppers, to Broder Daniel and The Cure, released it’s debut single, ”Sugar” by themselves using Spinnup in January 2017. By May the same year, the band caught attention from Gothenburg-based Indie-Major label Rexius Records and got signed the same month. Surfin’ Charlie are currently recording their first full length album which will be released by Rexius Records in 2018.
