About AIV is a non-political and non-religious association that helps foreign visitors to settle into Swedish society and to get to know Swedish culture. Story Association for International Visitors is a voluntary organisation consisting of Swedish families wanting to welcome exchange students, postgraduate students or guest researchers into their homes as an occasional guest. The organisation runs a cultural programme and invites you to participate in several activities such as get-together parties, study visits, open house arrangements, excursions and the annual Lucia party. Everybody is welcome to join these activities, even if they haven't been assigned a friend family.
