Independent Business Group  provide consulting services, training and technology to different industries with focus on sustainability.

Story
Independent Consulting Ltd was founded in Hong Kong in 2007. Since then, the company has built up a long list of references in consulting as well as training and has entered into a number of joint ventures in the transportation and media industries to strengthen and diversify its product portfolio. The company went through a restructuring in 2014 expanding the Board of Directors and attracting new shareholders. As a result, the company name was changed to Independent Business Group (IBG) and the scope of business has been redefined into three key areas:

1. Independent Consulting: the company’s core business which is supported by a network of over 60 consultants. Within this area the company has a strong portfolio in Transportation (Aviation in particular) and growing business in the domain of Management Consulting (including M&A). Our consulting brand is well-recognized with references from EUROCONTROL, IATA, Gatwick Airport, Changi Airport Group, DCA Malaysia, AIRNAV Indonesia, Dubai Air Navigation Services, etc.

2. Independent Academy: focused on training and aims to support companies and schools with their training-related needs ranging from development and maintenance of training material to provision of instructor services and E-learning tools. In line with the consulting business, the Academy is strong in aviation-related training with a portfolio of 47 courses and more than 30 instructors. In addition to this, we also provide courses related to general management, leadership and communication.

3. Independent Ventures: aims to diversify the IBG portfolio through participation in other ventures. Examples are IBG’s participation in Querendo Ltd, a company which develops need-based media systems with integrated advertising engines for the transportation and hospitality sectors, and in a joint venture called Independent Analytics which provides services and tools to Airports, ANSPs and Military for assessing the performance of surveillance equipment."Independent Business Group IBG are experts in aviation infrastructure and Advanced Air Mobility. Our core competence is to optimize airspace and airports from an air traffic, regulatory, technical, financial, and sustainable perspective. This is complemented by our services to support cities/municipalities and states to elevate their ground infrastructure to enable drone taxi and cargo flights.We have offices in Europe, Middle East and Asia and are continuing to build on our successes overseas and expand our international capability. Since the start we have implemented numerous successful projects around the world within the Air Traffic and Airport segment."
