About Oryx Simulations is a Swedish company and world leader in simulator systems for training heavy-vehicle operators. We are active on a global market that has expanded steadily in recent years, a trend that is expected to continue. our headquarter is located in Umeå, Sweden, and we have sales offices in both Stockholm and São Paulo. In total, Oryx has over 40 employees. In 2011, our net sales increased by 107 per cent. This significant increase was principally due to increased global collaboration with Volvo Construction Equipment, Atlas Copco and Komatsu. The number of simulator systems delivered by Oryx more than doubled that year. Our sister company, Algoryx, provides Oryx with world-leading technology in the form of the realtime physics engine used in most of Oryx’s simulators. Oryx Prototyping is a newly established, wholly owned subsidiary of Oryx. The company develops and offers real-time simulator systems for better and faster development of new vehicles and machines.
