About YWAM Restenäs is a part of Youth With a Mission. We are located near Uddevalla, Sweden. We host multiple DTS's as well as a range of other University of the Nations courses. Thanks for checking us out! Story Youth With a Mission (YWAM) is an international and interdenominational missions organisation. YWAM's vision statement is "To Know God and Make Him Known". YWAM was founded in 1960 by Loren Cunningham and is today (with it's almost 20000 full-time volunteers) one of the world's biggest missions organisations. Along with these workers there are also many short term volunteers. YWAM is operating in over 1200 locations in over 170 countries. YWAM's work is focused in three areas: training, evangelism and mercy ministries.
