Elin Westerberg

Story

Elin Westberg is a Swedish singer-songwriter now living in Stockholm, Sweden. She grew up listening to old and new soul and r’n’b and Swedish pop, jazz and folksongs. Her music is colored by south american rhythms and west african power since living in Senegal and playing percussion in a Batteria. Her own music all about communicating a feeling through words and sound. Writing a song often starts with a feeling, then writing the words to express it, finding chords to match the particular mood and at last letting the melody come through completing the piece. Some people say they feel something spiritual when listening to her voice and words. Since the words and melodies come directly from Elins heart and soul they are always pure and un-modified which allows people to relate in an authentic way.
