Elite Park Hotel Växjö

Lucky find!nnMy daughter moved to Sweden for college and I stayed here to help her move. I'm do glad I did.nnLet me start with the one negative. There is no hotel parking. It's street parking only. The person at the lobby was super helpful in helping me find parking, explaining parking hours, and where I can park depending on which day it was.nnThe hotel room was large, I did request for a king size bed and it came with two single size beds that were pushed in together, not really a big deal I seem to be noticing that a lot in Europe.nnLike most hotels in Europe there is no AC, but you're able to open the windows. The place outside was a little loud, however are still able to sleep with the windows open. It's a good hotel room, with comfortable beds, clean environment, in a nice place to relax.nnThe best part of this place is the breakfast!! The breakfast spread was amazing! There's plenty of hot and cold selections, fresh bread, cheeses, coffee, tea, water, etc etc. My favorite breakfast, is bread with cream cheese and smoke salmon. I accompany that with eggs, bacon, tomatoes, and mushrooms. It was all amazing! Please take a look at the photos! They're breakfast spread was huge!nnI did have a card this time around, so I can't speak about the public transportation. However I've noticed a lot of buses around the area, so I'm sure it's not a problem. Also there's a lot of places nearby that you can go to, like the Opera House, the library, just taking a walk around the area. It seems to be the older part of the city, they had cobblestone walkways, and just that small town old style vibe.nnHighly recommend!

Came here for a conference. I have a bad dairy reaction, however, the staff could not have been more helpful. Once they knew, they put by a special version of their meals and also sought me out and provided a plate which clearly showed which items I could have milk free mjolkfritt. Immaculate throughout and very helpful staff.

We had a superior double room in the annex building. Great location, super friendly staff, clean room, huge shower space, comfortable bed, two pillows with different softness and very quiet. Breakfast was very nice including pancakes and ginger shots which was great after a late cocktail night : Amazing experience all the way from from booking and checkin to checkout. This was so much value for the money! I would definitely come back!

The room was very good. The beds were very comfortable.nThe breakfast was the best we ever have had during the last 40 years of traveling in Europe, America and Asia.

This is a nice hotel located in the center few minutes of walking from railway station and there are many nice restaurants around. Rooms are big enough, showers spacious, in reception bikes and snacks are provided free of charge. On Breakfast there was a wide choice of products, staff are helpful and polite. It would be nice if more amenities were provided to customers in hotel rooms, there was only tiny shampoo and hair conditioner. If you book early enough which I didn't do price is good.
