Very nice and service oriented staff, everyone from security to the officials. Waiting times were a little bit longer, but they were caused by people who were poorly prepared and didn’t follow clear instructions.
Jan 2025nnI had my appointment at 8:30 and arrived 8:15 and there was already a huge queue. It took 2h 45mins standing outside in the cold thankfully it neither rained nor snowed to finally reach the gate - it was beyond awful! There were several infants, kids and old people waiting in the cold for a long time. Let’s not forget about people with hidden disability. All this could be avoided by spreading out appointment better. The two star is ONLY for the super friendly staff.
Very helpful staff! Their security and police personnel are extremely helpful, strict but helpful. It’s the US Embassy after all, they have to be a bit strict. But if you follow the rules, listen and do what they say, they are extremely helpful and funny at times!
The Americans Service section was extremely fast, responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful when I lost my passport here in Stockholm. They called me back near instantly helping me get an appointment despite none being available until late August.nnI had a bunch of upcoming travel planned so I was pretty stressed, but they handled everything quickly and calmly. A little prouder to be an American today!
Truly caring professionals. I live by Google reviews. And I was a bit daunted by the reviews. But, my son lost his passport and my daughter's too, and these professional people delivered! We love Stockholm; but really needed to return to the USA timely. We received the two passports slightly after hours. I cannot promise this for all situations; but this time, they shone brightly. But we enjoyed the benefits.nnThank you!nnSteve F
