Eos Cares is the social programme of the IK Eos Lund basketball club. We aim to provide a live example of how a sports club can bring additional value to the community, by opening up our activities to anyone interested in engaging in a sports association.

Here you can get information on our future events and get in touch with us for every manner that you find relevant.
“Eos Cares” is the socially responsible branch of the basketball club IK EOS Lund and has one and only goal: provide fun ways to integrate foreigners into the local society!
We have been doing so by:
- EOS Language Café – providing the visitors with the opportunity to practice a language of their interest (Swedish, English, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Japanese and many more) for free, while having a traditional Swedish fika. The event is held every Saturday from 13:00 to 15:00 in Eoshallen.
- Swedish for Expats – similarly to the EOS Language Café, the visitors have the chance to practice their Swedish over a nice fika. You can join Swedish for Expats every Wednesday from 10:00 to 12:00 in Eoshallen.
- Lund Integration Fair – is an extension to the EOS Language Café held every last Saturday of the month, where local organizations meet the visitors to present their activities and recruit volunteers.
- Eos Student Basketball – here the focus is mainly on the newly arrived students. Basketball enthusiasts can join our practices on Wednesdays from 21:00 to 22:30 and on Sundays from 20:00 to 22:00.
- Eos Cares/TAMAM Basketball – is an integrational team with a main focus on kids (10-18 years old). The team’s main focus is having fun while playing basketball and meeting immigrated kids with Swedes. We believe that building bonds through sports last for life. The service is free of charge for the kids and the practices are held on Monday (20-21) and Sunday (20-21).
- Lundauppropet – the project’s purpose is to reach out to the people of Lund, to work together to find a long term housing solution for the incoming refugees to the region. Currently, the Eos Cares team is working to start-up the network. If you can help or you know somebody that would be interested, please, send us a message or send an e-mail to [email protected].
- Other social activities that bring people together – Cook-along and Potlucks organized by our most precious Kitchen Manager, International Pub Night at Crêperiet, seminars and many more…
Are you interested in being a volunteer and help this project grow even further or you have some questions? Then, please, send us a message, e-mail us at [email protected], or simply visit us in Eoshallen (Arkivgatan 32, 223 59 Lund)!
