I visited Café Europa Bageri in Kortedala and I was very impressed by their selection of traditional Balkan food and pastries. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the prices were reasonable. I tried their burek, cevapi, and baklava, and they were all delicious and fresh. The café was cozy and clean, and had a nice atmosphere.

Unfortunately not the same as it was. Did not get what we ordered for and no one cared to inform that they are modifying the item. Subtle things like cucumber and tomato were missing but Inignored. The chicken was very dry and didn’t taste right. As old and repeat customers, the different was rather stark. And at the end of all this experience, we were even charged extra, not sure for what. We never ask for bill and just pay as usual, and the experience was itself quite sour to pursue any further.
I stumbled across this cozy Eastern European café and was instantly won over. I may not be from the region, but the flavors hit like comfort food I've loved forever. Their cheese bureks were delicately crisp and deeply satisfying, and the fresh bread paired with the cevapa and qofte was warm, fluffy, and full of soul. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t just serve amazing food — it welcomes you like family. A surprise favorite that I’ll definitely return to.
The coffee here is just amazing, best I have had. The pastry is also very good and not too sweet. We have had fika at this place many times and just one time the edge of one of the cakes was a bit dry.nI wouldn't recommend the food there though. The price speaks for itself, it's cheap to have a meal there but it's not of high quality and too salty.nOverall a great place to visit.
