Saw the always amazing Eric Prydz yesterday a Evenew. The concept is awesome, but the logistics sucked big time. Inside the so called VIP area there were three people working in two bars. I doesn’t take a genius to figure out that this means looooong lines. Not to mention 174 SEK for a gin and tonic or 88 SEK for a plastic bottle of 33 cl beer.nnI think there were 16 toilets in the VIP area and that meant long waiting times.nOver at the “other side” they at least had set up so that men could pee without needing a separate toilet.nnNot sure what the capacity of the event was, but with the separation of VIP/non VIP it was possible to get to the front row quite easily.nnOne would also have thought that the event company would have made arrangements for extra buses leaving the event, but no, so I’m glad we left before the end of Eric’s set to be able to catch a bus.nnWill never go back to Evenew again while it’s run like a school project like this.
First and last time.nThe sound and light are great, but that's where it ends.nAirplane security checks feel less strict than this one.nBe honest, you are hunting poor ravers, not terrorists. Of course people will do other stuff, with these prices for a can of piswasser.nnThe crowd is full of random peeps who are def pre-drinking and have zero regard for others around them.
Pretty good arena in a central location, the sound system was also fairly good but I guess it was delivered there just for the event. Plenty of bathrooms for the visitors as well, and the wardrobe queue went smoothly. Not enough food for the ampunt of visitors though.
Solid venue but the acoustics and pyrotechnics inside the tent are not great. Also, charging 98kr for a small can of Carlsberg is highway robbery.
