Fältöversten at Karlaplan is an iconic landmark and holds a special place for me—I bought my first pair of jeans with my own money here about 25 years ago! I still shop here from time to time, and it’s the perfect alternative when you don’t feel like braving the crowds at Hötorget or T-Centralen.nnThe shopping center has almost everything you need, and the atmosphere is usually very calm. Even during Christmas, when most places are packed, Fältöversten remains spacious and pleasant. One of the best aspects is that the calm environment means staff often have more time to help you with whatever you need, making it a better choice for certain purchases.nnOverall, it’s a reliable, stress-free shopping destination with a nice balance of stores and services. Highly recommend!
Fältöversten is a combined shopping center and residential area at Karlaplan 15 in Östermalm in Stockholm. The development consists of a shopping center with community facilities and community services on the ground floor and an upper terrace with five residential buildings. The Fältöversten neighborhood has a triangular shape and is bounded by Värtavägen, Valhallavägen and Erik Dahlbergsallén adjacent to Karlaplan. Fältöversten is also the name of the neighborhood that until the 1930s was divided into Fältöversten and Fältväbeln. In the neighborhood there are similar neighborhood names with military connections such as Furiren, Trumslagaren and Ryttaren. In 2008, the 534 apartments were converted into condominiums.
A small and compact mall where you have to pay to use the toilet. Totally laughable…
It's a cozy little mall right on top of the red line, so very convenient for an after work visit. If there was a little more variety in the shops it would be perfect.
Cozy and dog friendly shopping mall. Find anything in you need.
