Iconic view of the bridge, place full of wild birds. Exelent for family city brake. Carpark available.
It’s possible to go up but it costs 50kr for grownups and 25kr for kids. The cafe looked so so. There’s a lovely walk along the coast after the lighthouse. Excellent small beach with clean water and no seaweed. Quite deep.
A nice lighthouse and it just took 10 sek to climb to the top. There even people introduce about birds knowledge. And there are love beach nearby. Great place to go.
A Visit to Falsterbo Lighthouse - anno 1796: A Timeless ClassicnnStanding as a proud sentinel of the Swedish coastline since 1796, Falsterbo Lighthouse is a beacon of history and architectural brilliance. Designed by the renowned architect Olof Tempelman in the neoclassical style, the lighthouse exudes an aura of grandeur and timeless elegance. Its sturdy brick construction and symmetrical form stand in stark contrast to the ever-changing tides and winds that buffet its shores.nnWhile the lighthouse is a mesmerizing sight any time of year, I would wholeheartedly recommend visiting during the summer months. The milder weather will allow you to fully appreciate its beauty and explore the surrounding area without the discomfort of harsh winds or biting cold. The vibrant colors of the summer landscape will only enhance the lighthouse's presence, creating a picture-perfect setting for capturing memories.nnFalsterbo Lighthouse is not just a historical landmark; it's a symbol of resilience, innovation, and the enduring beauty of architecture. While the winter months may hold a certain charm, the summer offers the perfect opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the lighthouse's magic.
We came here because we are collecting lighthouses for the Tourist Badge of the Lighthouse Lover “BLIZA”. The lighthouse is pretty and has beautiful view from the top. Inside you can see a little exhibition about birds and bird ringing, with some stuffed birds. The vicinity of the lighthouse is great place to look for migrating birds.
